Week one has been a smashing success! Sam left the hospital weighing 7.7 lbs. and was up to a whopping 8.5 by his one week appt. He is waking only once around 4am to eat and otherwise sleeps soundly in his cradle. We've enjoyed visits from Grandma and Grandpa Beckman, Uncle Terry and Aunt Emily...and several delicious meals from Zionsville friends. Big Brother Henry remains very proud of his "Damuel"...you can often hear "ALL ABOARD, DAMIEL" echoing throughout our house. So here we go, on the Beckman Express, into week 2 of life as a family of four...welcome aboard.

Looks like everyone is really happy! Hope you're still getting good sleep! It makes all the difference in the daytime, doesn't it!? Keep the photos coming!
Thanks for letting us stay and showing us the ropes in Zionsville! We had a blast with Henry at such a fun age and of course with perfect little Samuel being so new. Terry had three firsts.... first bath, diaper change, and book-reading =)
