Happy Birthday Sam!

What a week of celebration we've had...from fun at the Fall Festival, to parties with friends and family, to picnics in the park and a Sunday trip to the Zoo. Sammy is officially 1 yr. old, and is loving it! He seems to know he is a big boy now...his words are coming more and more by the day and I think within the week he'll be running. He loves to play ball, shouting "Get it, get it!" followed by a congratulatory "I GOT IT!" Lately, our favorite things include playing outside, running together on the trail (maybe I should clarify: boys in double jogger with snacks, milk cups and at least one toy each...and mom running on the trail), picnics, roller coasters after dinner, a good, healthy game of "Bottom, Bottom" after bath, and puzzles with Shel Silverstien before bed.

... a summer of fun with two little boys full of wildly exciting energy who play hard, laugh harder and continue to bring us more sweet joy than we ever dreamed possible....

Back to School!

It's back to school for all of us this fall...Henry enjoyed his first day of "REAL Preschool" today. Tim and I start next week, and Sammy in September. Even our beloved babysitter, Lauren, must go. Thanks Lauren for a fantastic summer...we'll miss you!

The Fun Never Ends...

Sammy is taking steps (woohoo!)...we're splashing in the lake (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Beckman)...rolling in a new minivan (yes, we've arrived)...and simply loving summer in Indiana. I heart Beckman Boys...
